Multi-state burglary ring arrests made following extensive investigation by Eugene Police and surrounding agencies
Eugene, OR – Eugene Police have dedicated significant resources to investigating a multi-state burglary ring since the arrests of three individuals in June 2024.
Their ongoing efforts, supported by several Oregon and surrounding state agencies, have resulted in multiple arrests over the past week.
Search warrants were served in Bend, Oregon City, and Portland, leading to the apprehension of suspects.
Collaboration between agencies such as Tigard Police Department, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police Department, and Eugene Police Department, along with law enforcement in Washington and Idaho, has been crucial.
Stolen property has been linked to burglaries in Boise, and more victims are confirming their items were taken.
The ring primarily targeted wealthy individuals of Asian descent, including business owners, doctors, and others, specifically focusing on those likely to keep cash, jewelry, and luxury items such as high-end handbags at home.
Similar crimes, echoing the June 2024 incidents, continued into the fall.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify additional victims and dismantle the network.
