The Eugene Police Department is calling on the local community to support the Lane County Diaper Bank by participating in their diaper drive

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, the initiative aims to collect essential items to ensure that local babies in need stay dry and healthy.
Donations of diapers, pull-ups, and sealed packs of wipes can be dropped off in the designated box located in the police department’s lobby at 300 Country Club.
The collection will run through the end of August, and the department is encouraging everyone to spread the word to help support the littlest members of Lane County.
Last year, the community showed remarkable generosity by contributing 5,437 items. This year, the Eugene Police Department has set an ambitious goal of collecting 5,800 items. The need is pressing, as one in two families struggles to afford enough diapers. The Lane County Diaper Bank plays a crucial role by supplying 20,000 diapers monthly to families in need, completely free of charge.
The Eugene Police Department invites everyone to participate and contribute to this vital cause. Together, the community can make a lasting impact and ensure that no baby goes without the essential care they need.
