Fire crews responded to structure fire in the 1500 block of W 2nd Ave, no injuries reported

Eugene, OR – According to the statement, Eugene Springfield firefighters responded to a house fire in West Eugene on Sunday evening.
At 7:10 PM on July 14, fire crews were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of W 2nd Ave after receiving reports of a fire.
Callers reported that five occupants, along with their pets, had safely exited the home before the arrival of the firefighters.
Upon reaching the scene, firefighters observed smoke emanating from the house.
After entering the home, firefighters conducted a search for any remaining occupants and located the fire in a bedroom.
They successfully contained the fire to the room of origin. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
