Governor Kotek announces appointment to Columbia County Circuit Court

Eugene, OR – According to the state officials, Gov. Kotek has announced the appointment of Nickolas Brajcich to the Columbia County Circuit Court.
Per reports, Brajcich will fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Cathleen B. Callahan. The appointment is effective immediately.
Nickolas A. Brajcich, who uses he/him pronouns, is a Clatskanie High School graduate and currently serves as a Columbia County Deputy District Attorney.
In his role, Brajcich has developed strong relationships with law enforcement, substance abuse treatment providers, and mental health treatment providers in the community.
Governor Kotek expressed confidence in Brajcich’s abilities, noting his deep connections within Columbia County and his commitment to justice.
Brajcich’s extensive experience and dedication to public service are expected to serve him well in his new role as a judge on the Columbia County Circuit Court.
