Eugene Springfield Fire responded to commercial fire at Planktown Brewing, located at 346 Main St in Downtown Springfield

Eugene, OR – According to the officials, fire crews were dispatched at 8:02 AM on Thursday, June 13th, following reports of a fire behind the range.
Engine 4 from 5th and Centennial arrived just 4.5 minutes after the call, finding the fire burning behind the range.
Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire and are now overhauling the area to prevent further damage to the building.
Thanks to early notification and a swift response, the fire was kept small and declared under control within 19 minutes, saving a historic downtown building.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
