Eugene Police Department investigating after pedestrian/vehicle crash at at Beltline and W 11th Avenue, one person seriously injured
Eugene, OR – According to the Eugene Police Department officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 7:28 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police officials said that a 911 caller reported a pedestrian had been lying in the middle of traffic at Beltline and W. 11th Avenue before he was hit by a Mazda.
The driver remained on scene and the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was shut down from Beltline to Danebo in both directions.
EPD’s Major Collision Investigation team is investigating.
