Midway Through The Oregon ‘Freeze:’ COVID Q&A
n recent weeks, the daily positive tests for COVID-19 around the country have run between 150,000 and 170,000–approximately the population of the City of Eugene getting sick every day.
It has resulted in high hospitalization numbers and additional shutdown measures in many states. Those include the “freeze” in effect in Oregon starting November 18th.
Dr. Jim Shames is the Medical Director at Jackson County Health and Human Services. He visits once a week to catch us up on COVID-19 issues and current concerns.
