Eugene Police Department to host 911 Call Taker Career Information Night
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department announced it will hold a 911 Call Taker Career Information Night today at 6:00 p.m. at the Emergency Services Training Center, 1705 W. Second Avenue.
The event is intended for individuals interested in a career in emergency communications.
Attendees will learn about the role and responsibilities of a 911 Call Taker, hear from department staff, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Officials also noted that job shadow and ride-along opportunities have resumed.
Those unable to attend in person can view a virtual tour provided by the department.
