Oregon State Police Pendleton Patrol Office hosts Scout Troop for hands-on evidence gathering experience
Oregon – The Pendleton Patrol Office and Forensics Lab recently welcomed a local Scout Troop eager to learn about evidence gathering.
The scouts had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities such as dusting for fingerprints, filling out an evidence bag for a fictitious case, and touring the inside of a patrol car.
They also toured the Pendleton office, completing the requirements needed for their patch.
Each scout left with a piece of crime scene tape and a copy of their own fingerprints.
The tour was led by Lt. Farber, a long-time scoutmaster, and evidence technician Tricia P., who both helped make the experience informative and memorable.
