Father told his friend that he smothered his firstborn child and drowned the second born, both born at home and never received any documentation, before he burned their bodies, then kept some of the ashes to make a necklace as a memory

Indianapolis, IN – According to the police officials, the 31-year-old dad, later identified as Stevven, and the 25-year-old mom, later identified as Samanta, were arrested and are now facing multiple charges, including murder, negIect of a dependent causing death, abse of a corpse and faiIure to report a dead body in connection with their children’s death. Police officials said the parents reportedly murdered their children, who were und0cumented, before they burned their bodies in the backyard.
The investigation process began last month after a witness, who was not identified, told authorities that his friend, the 31-year-old dad, reportedly told him that he killed his two children. When the couple’s friend asked the father to tell him more about the incident, the man reportedly replied that he ‘smothered his first born child and drowned the second born’. The man also told his friend that he burned their bodies. Both parents were taken into custody two weeks after the initial report, police officials said.
Child, who was also und0cumented, was removed from their custody. At the end of September, authorities executed a search warrant on the property where the parents used to live and reportedly found b0ne fragments. Further testing of the fragments determined that the bones were human. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that after the investigation process began, the parents exchanges messages between them. In one instance, the mother reportedly messaged the father of her children, calling him ‘baby killed’ and saying that ‘he killed her children because he never loved her’. The man replied that ‘the fire will be known for what she did’.
The woman also messaged the 31-year-old dad that ‘he killed their babies, but she will have their DNA in her body forever’. The woman also texted that the authorities will know because he took her to the doctor one year before their first baby was born’. During an interview with investigators, the 31-year-old dad reportedly said that Samanta have birth to their first born child in 2018. When he came home, the woman was reportedly passed out and the newborn was not breathing. The man then told authorities that he wrapped the baby in a blanket and placed him in a box. Several days later, he burned the baby’s body in the backyard. After some time, his partner became pregnant again and gave birth to a premature baby. The man also claimed that the baby was already dead when he arrived home. He also admitted to burying the body in the backyard and keeping some of the ashes to make a necklace as a memory.
