Eugene Springfield Fire responded to fire at camp site in the 2600 block of Rosevelt Blvd, no injuries reported

Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire crews swiftly responded to a fire at a camp site in the 2600 block of Roosevelt Blvd on June 18th.
The fire was reported at 1:16 PM, and Engine 7 from the Bethel station arrived on the scene just four minutes later.
Although the fire destroyed some personal belongings, there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Eugene Springfield Fire continues to emphasize the importance of fire safety, especially in areas near railroad tracks where dry conditions can quickly lead to dangerous situations.
