Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit arrests 48-year-old man, seizes drug, guns and more than $270,000 cash

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, the 48-year-old man, later identified as Joshua Herrington, was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday.
Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit, SWAT, Drone and Investigations teams executed a search warrant at 850 N. Street, Springfield, Oregon.
The 48-year-old man was stopped away from the location and detained during the investigation.
Investigators developed information Herrington was a multiple-pound methamphetamine dealer last month.
Upon execution of the warrant service, SWAT personnel conducted a thorough and thoughtful search of the property to render it safe for investigators.
Once the property was turned over to investigators, a total of 11 personnel conducted an extensive and thorough search taking approximately four hours and resulting in the seizure of 8.75 pounds of suspected methamphetamines, two ounces of cocaine, 6.5 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, seven handguns (two of which were stolen), three rifles, (two of which were stolen) and a little more than $272,000.
