The Lakeview, Oregon DMV office at 855 South F Street will close temporarily and will reopen on Feb. 29, 2024 due to staffing, officials say
Eugene, OR – According to the state officials, the office will re-open Thursday, February 29 with reduced hours.
Starting Feb. 29, service hours for the Lakeview DMV office will be Thursdays and Fridays 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a mid-day closure from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
Officials expect this reduced schedule will last through March 2024.
The nearest DMV offices for in-person services are in Klamath Falls and Burns.
Officials also said that Lakeview DMV customers should consider saving time by conducting their business online.
Many transactions, such as registration renewal or transferring a title, can also be done through the mail.
Other services, such as adding the Real ID option to your license, must be done in person.
Before you go to DMV, make sure you have all the documents you need and that your local office is open.
