44-year-old pedestrian injured following crash in the 500 block of Hwy 99 North, police say
Eugene, OR – According to the Eugene Police Department officials, the crash occurred right after 7 p.m. Friday night.
It happened in the 500 block of Hwy. 99 North.
Eugene Springfield Fire and Eugene Police responded. Eugene Police arrived and began CPR on the pedestrian, a 44-year-old man, and ESF took over emergency medical care upon arrival shortly thereafter.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital.
The 47-year-old driver remained on scene. Intoxication on the part of the pedestrian appears to be a factor in the crash.
Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation Team is investigating.
