Police are investigating a stabbing and subsequent shooting near a shopping center on West Centennial Boulevard late Thursday night
Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred approximately at 11:10 p.m. in the 600 block of W. Centennial Boulevard.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one was stabbed and one shot man.
According to the statement, the first man stabbed the other man several times in the chest. The stabbing victim then shot at the other man several times, with at least one of the bullets hitting the man in the abdomen.
Both of them were taken to the hospital for emergency surgery.
The stabbing victim is expected to survive, but the shooting victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
This incident is under investigation.
