Police: Search warrant reveals stolen property from numerous burglaries and thefts

Police are reuniting stolen property with their rightful owners after serving a search warrant Friday on the residence and three storage units of 31-year-old Max James Trezona, the Springfield Police Department said.
Police served the search warrant in an attempt to locate a stolen trailer, quads and a motorcycle.
While investigating, property from numerous burglaries and thefts from several jurisdictions (including Springfield, Eugene, Lane County, Linn County and North Bend) was located, the report said.
Trezona was arrested in 2017 on drug and property crimes. He was released from prison in November 2019 and is currently on post-prison supervision for Delivery of Heroin and Meth, police said.
Detectives found a large volume of property in the storage units, including eight firearms.
“Numerous items have been returned to the crime victims upon proper identification,” SPD said. “Detectives are working to identify additional victims and property.”
The investigation is ongoing.
