Woman claims her partner began to yell at her and pushed her against a wall because their special needs child soiIed his pants before putting the boy to sleep, grabbing a gun and killing the man; sentenced
Florida – A Florida woman, later identified as 39-year-old Lauri, was ordered to serve twenty five years behind bards after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm in connection with her partner’s death. Prosecutors claim the defendant killed the victim, later identified as 51-year-old AdeI, while he was sitting outside the home. The woman reportedly grabbed the man’s firearm, loaded it before firing a single gunshot wound to the head, killing him.
The investigation process began in June last year after the defendant called 911 and told the dispatcher that she just shot someone. First responders arrived on scene and found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
During the investigation process, authorities in Florida discovered that the woman shot the victim following an argument. During an interview with investigators, the defendant reportedly said that their child, who has autism, soiIed his pants, which made his dad very angry.
According to the woman, the victim then started to yell at the child and her. When she cleaned their child, the woman put the boy to bed and came downstairs. The victim then started to yell at her again and reportedly shoved her against the wall, she told investigators.
Shortly after, he went outside and sat on a chair. Moments later, the woman grabbed his gun, loaded it and fired a single gunshot wound to the head while he was sitting. According to the court documents, days before she killed the man, she reportedly messaged her mom and asked her to take care of her child if anything happens to her.
