Physical altercation between brothers ensued before a man pulled out a gun and killed his mother, father and younger sibling because he and his wife were klcked out of the house; sentenced

ARIZONA – According to the court documents, the 37-year-old defendant, later identified as Branon, was sentenced to three Iife sentences without the possibility of parile after he killed his mom, dad and brother following an argument. Prosecutors say the argument started after the defendant and his wife were. removed from the house.
The investigation process began in August 2021 after officers responded to a disturbance call and found the victims shot to death. The responding officers pronounced 56-year-old lrene, 63-year-old Levvis and 30-year-old Mathew dead at the scene. Shortly after, hospital staff called 911 and told the dispatcher that the defendant arrived at the hospital and reportedly admitted to killing his family members last night.
During an interview with investigators, the 37-year-old defendant reportedly said that he and his wife were klcked out of his parent’s home. The defendant also told investigators that he wanted to talk with them before his sibling interfered and they got into a physical fight. Shortly after, the defendant grabbed his gun and shot his brother to death before entering his parents’ house and killing them as well.
During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the defendant’s two children were inside his vehicle on the fatal day. They reportedly told investigators that they heard their parent say ‘I’m going to kill them’ before hearing gunshots and screams from inside the house. The defendant’s wife was sentenced to 3 years in prison after she assisted her husband leaving the crime scene.
