Mother and her boyfriend wanted to discipline her ‘misbehaving child’ a Iesson, so they left the 3-year-old all by himself at 10 p.m. at a picnic table ; charged
Atlanta, GA – According to the police officials, the 28-year-old mom, later identified as GabrieIe, was arrested and later charged with reckIess conduct after she reportedly left her 3-year-old child, all by himself, because she wanted to teach the boy a Iesson. The responding officers discovered that the child was running in the street all by himself. The people who found the boy wandering told investigators that the boy was lucky he wasn’t hit by a vehicle.
The investigation process began after the 911 caller told the dispatcher that they found a little boy, all by himself. The responding officers made contact with the people who found the boy, later identified as MicheIIe and WiII, who reportedly told them that they realized that the child was running in the street and they took him to safety.
During an interview with investigators, the child’s mom reportedly said that her little son was spiting on her all day and was trying to fight her, so she decided to teach the boy a Iesson. The ‘Iesson’ reportedly included leaving the child in the park and then drove to the other side of the street to scare the child. The mother also told investigators that she returned after one minute, but the boy was gone. The mother and her boyfriend, later identified Lavvrence, then started to look the child.
During the investigation process, authorities that the child was found 40 minutes by the couple after his mom left him alone at 10 p.m. The mom’s boyfriend also told investigators the same story as his girlfriend – that they left the boy to teach him a Iesson. The little boy, who was not identified, reportedly told police that he was scared being in the streets by himself and that his mom broke his toys.
