Eugene Springfield Fire contained structure fire at Brails restaurant early Sunday
Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a reported structure fire at Brails restaurant near downtown Eugene just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.
The fire was reported in the 1600 block of Willamette Street, where callers indicated that a dumpster had been set on fire next to the building and flames were spreading.
Engine 1 arrived approximately three and a half minutes after dispatch to find the dumpster igniting the building.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to the exterior of the restaurant, fully extinguishing and overhauling the fire within about an hour.
Eugene Springfield Fire Marshals are working with the Eugene Police Department to investigate the cause of the fire.
