Eugene Springfield Fire Class 35 completes final live fire training evolutions
Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire shared that Class 35 completed their final dynamic live fire evolutions during training conducted on June 5.
According to the department, the exercise marked an important milestone in the training process, allowing recruits to apply their skills in controlled live fire scenarios designed to simulate real emergency conditions.
The department said the evolutions are part of advanced training intended to prepare firefighters for real-world structure fire situations, emphasizing teamwork, safety, and effective response under pressure.
Officials noted that completing the final live fire evolutions is a key step in the progression of firefighter development before advancing to full operational readiness.
