Eugene Police Department hosts hoodie donation drive for local high school students
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department is hosting a community donation drive throughout December to collect new hoodies for high school-aged students in need of warm clothing during the winter months.
According to the department, the collection period runs from December 1 through December 31. The initiative is intended to provide comfort and warmth to teenagers who may need additional support during colder weather.
Donations can be dropped off at several locations across the city, including Eugene Police Headquarters at 300 Country Club Road, the Downtown Public Safety Station at 960 Olive Street, and multiple Kendall Auto Group locations on Goodpasture Island Road and Coburg Road.
In addition to hoodies, gift cards are also being accepted. Officials noted that cash donations are not permitted.
Department representatives said community participation can make a meaningful difference for local students by helping provide warmth, confidence, and relief during the winter season.
