Eugene Police Department honors fallen La Mesa Police Officer Lauren Craven
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department expressed its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of La Mesa Police Officer Lauren Craven, who was killed on October 20 while assisting a motorist at the scene of a fatal five-vehicle crash.
Members of the Eugene Police Honor Guard joined mourning family members and fellow law enforcement officers in honoring Officer Craven’s life, service, and ultimate sacrifice.
Officer Craven, 25, grew up in Bend, Oregon, before beginning her law enforcement career with the La Mesa Police Department. Her End of Watch was October 20, 2025.
