Educator continued to contact student after he attempted to stop the lndecent encounters with the woman, who abused her position of trust to engage in a physical relationship with the boy, including after hours in her office at the school; charged

Columbus, OH – According to the police officials, the 42-year-old educator, who was working as a supervisor of a program to assist students struggIing academicaIIy, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including se-ual battery after she abused her position of trust and authority to engage in physical reIationship with one of her students. The boy, who was not identified due to his age, attempted to stop the encounters, only for the educator to continue contact him via messages, police officials said.
The educator is now facing more than a decade behind bars if convicted on the charges. Prosecutors claim the defendant sent se-ual messages, n-de images to a former teen student. The much older woman also had unlawful se-ual relations with the boy. The 17-year-old victim was assigned to the program the educator was responsible for, per reports.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the woman started contacting the boy after school hours. The woman began sending se-ually expIicit text messages and n-de photos of herself. Shortly after, the woman started having indecent relationship with the boy that included several encounters.
Prosecutors claim the much older educator and the boy engaged in se-ual activities, including after hours in her office at the school. According to the prosecutors, when the boy tried to stop the encounters, the woman continues to contact him and sent him messages. The lndecent relationship was brought to light due to an internal investigation by school administrators.
