Dad and mom argued about the woman’s drinking problem and her coming late, only for the man to put their baby on the ground and leave, while the mom, instead of getting the child, called her family member to pick her up; both charged

Colorado – Colorado woman and her partner were taken into custody and later charged with chiId abuse after leaving their baby on the road. Both parents, 33-year-old Christin and 42-year-old Jarvls, were arrested after passerby found the crying baby and called 911. The responding officers discovered that the child was left alone, wearing only a diaper. The child was sitting in an infant vehicle seat and only had a diaper. The seat was left on the road, police officials said.
This unfortunate incident occurred earlier this week, police officials said. The investigation process began after a passerby saw the seat and realized that the baby was sitting in it. The unidentified witness secured the child before calling 911. The responding officers discovered that the child was left without supervision and launched an investigation.
Authorities also posted photos of the infant seat on their social media account. Shortly after, they posted an update, stating that family members of the baby contacted the authorities. Police officials also added that they will pursue criminal charges if deemed appropriate. In a follow-up updated, authorities said that they’ve identified both parents and took them into custody.
The unidentified baby was rushed to the hospital as a precaution. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that both parents got into a dispute about her drinking problems and coming late when the father left the child on the road and left. The 33-year-old woman (SEE PHOTO) called her family member for a ride, instead of getting the baby to safety. Both parents are being held on $50,000 bond, court records say. This incident remains under investigation.
