Crews are currently engaged in striping state highways across Wallowa County, a process expected to continue until July 3, 2024

Wallowa, OR – According to the ODOT officials, the work is planned to proceed in the following sequence, with each highway anticipated to require two to three days for completion:
- OR 3 (Enterprise-Lewiston Highway): Striping will commence from the Oregon/Washington state line (milepost 0) and proceed southward to Enterprise (milepost 43).
- OR 82 (Wallowa Lake Highway): Striping operations will start in Elgin (milepost 20) and extend eastward to Joseph (milepost 72).
- OR 350 (Little Sheep Creek Highway): Crews will begin striping from Joseph (milepost 0) and continue eastward to Imnaha (milepost 27).
The schedule for this work is contingent on weather conditions and is subject to adjustment as necessary to ensure optimal completion.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and observe signage and crew instructions while traveling through these areas during the striping operations.
