City of Eugene services and facilities on modified schedules for Labor Day, September 2, 2024

Eugene, OR – According to the city officials, the City of Eugene services and facilities will operate on modified schedules for Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
Here’s a rundown of the holiday hours and closures:
Administrative Offices
All City of Eugene administrative offices, including City Hall, will be closed.
Library, Recreation, and Cultural Services
- Eugene Public Library: All locations and outside return slots will be closed.
- Community Centers: All locations will be closed.
- Amazon Pool: Rec swim from 2 – 4:30 p.m., lap swim and on-your-own fitness from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Echo Hollow Pool: Rec swim from 1:45 – 4:30 p.m., lap swim and on-your-own fitness from 11 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Sheldon Pool: Closed for maintenance from August 31 – September 15.
Police, Fire, Medical, and Other Emergency Services
- Emergency services will operate as usual. The main police station on Country Club Road will be open 365 days a year.
- The Downtown Public Safety Station will be open with limited hours, and Downtown Officers will be on duty.
- Fire & EMS Administration offices, including Ambulance Billing, will be closed.
Parking
- City-managed parking garages, surface lots, and on-street meters will be free, except for the train depot surface lot.
- On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena will remain in effect as posted.
Public Works
- City street repair projects will be paused. Health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.
Airport
- Eugene Airport will operate as usual. Administrative offices at the airport will be closed. For flight information, visit www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.
Spay and Neuter Clinic
- The clinic will be closed.
