Eugene Police Department connects with students during high school career fair
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department participated in a recent career fair at Sheldon High School, where officers spoke with students about opportunities in law enforcement.
Officer Nusser, along with members of the department’s cadet program, met with students interested in pursuing careers in public safety.
Representatives shared information about pathways into policing, as well as the department’s cadet program designed for young individuals considering future roles in law enforcement.
Officials said the event provided an opportunity to engage with aspiring professionals and answer questions about training, responsibilities, and career development within the department.
The department encouraged those who were unable to attend to explore available career and cadet opportunities through its recruitment resources and social media platforms.
