Eugene Springfield Fire designated as regional EMS training center

Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire has been officially recognized as a regional training center for emergency medical services (EMS), expanding its role in providing essential education and certification opportunities.

The department will now offer a range of courses for emergency medical personnel, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the skills and preparedness of first responders.

As part of this initiative, Eugene Springfield Fire will host several National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) courses, covering various EMS disciplines.

These courses will be available to emergency personnel seeking continuing education and certification to meet industry standards and improve patient care.

The training center aims to equip EMS professionals with up-to-date knowledge and hands-on experience in life-saving techniques. By offering specialized courses, the department seeks to ensure that emergency responders remain well-trained and ready to handle critical situations in the field.
