Eugene Springfield Fire responded to vehicle fire at Roosevelt and Seneca, causing minor traffic delays

Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Roosevelt and Seneca in West Eugene on February 8, 2025.

Bethel Engine 8 was dispatched after receiving reports of a potential vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found an SUV with a fully involved engine compartment fire.

ESF firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the blaze, while Eugene Police Department officers provided traffic control to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.

ESF Fire Investigators are currently on the scene, and the public is advised to expect minor traffic delays in the area as the situation is addressed.
