Man tried to convince his parent not to shoot his pregnant partner, after believing she knew about his wife’s infideIity and was withholding information, only to fire a single bullet that struck him in the head, killing him
Missouri – A Missouri man is behind bars and later charged with multiple charges, including first-degree murder and armed criminal action after he reportedly killed his own s0n following an argument with the victim’s partner. The fatal shooting occurred at the defendant’s home earlier this week, police officials said. The investigation process began after the 911 caller told the dispatcher about shots fired at the location.
The responding officers found the victim lying on the ground, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. The 26-year-old victim, K. Ward, was pronounced dead at the scene. The responding officers discovered that the victim was shot to death by his own parent, 61-year-old HaroId (SEE PHOTO). During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the father grabbed a gun from his home and threatened to shoot the victim’s partner before shooting the 26-year-old man.
The shooting occurred following a family disagreement, police officials said. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the victim and his partner visited the man’s parent. At some point, the trio got into an argument after the shooter believed that his wife was having an afair and believed his son’s partner knew about it. The unidentified woman reportedly told authorities that her partner’s father thought she knew about his wife’s alleged cheating.
Shortly after, the much older man grabbed a gun and threatened to shoot the woman. The victim told his partner to bring him a knife and leave the home. The woman also told investigators that her partner attempted to convince his parent not to shoot his partner. According to the unidentified woman, the victim reportedly told his parent that ‘he is not going to shoot his partner’. The defendant then fired a single gunshot and struck the victim in the head, killing him.
