Minneapolis, MN – According to the police officials, both daycarre employees, later identified as 24-year-old ChIoe and 22-year-old EIizabeth, were taken into custody and later charged with multiple charges, including: malicious punishment of a child under 4, assault against a victim under 4 and malicious punishment of a child. Police officials released a statement, saying that both woman were caught on video abusing at least three babies.

During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the workers’ abuse reportedly includes dragging, slamming and flipping the infant babies. In one incident, one of the victims reportedly suffered a broken leg. Authorities say the investigation process began after a 5-month-old baby reportedly suffered bruises on her body. During an interview with investigators, the baby’s parents reportedly said that they brought the baby to the fascility in the morning, without any bruises. When the parents took their baby later that day, the infant had bruises.

The parents then called the facility and were ‘explained’ that the bruises are probably from the swing or the chair they use at the center. Authorities then reviewed the surveillance video and discovered that both teachers were abusive and very rough with the babies. In the video, the teachers violently pulled the babies by the arm, shoved bottles in their mouth and slammed them on a pillow. On one instance, one of the teacher can be seen slamming a baby on the changing table.

During an interview with investigators, both teachers reportedly admitted that their behavior was wrong. Police officials released a statement, saying that two babies had bruises all over their bodies and one baby suffered a leg fracture. The daycare facility is cooperating with the investigation and asked families to contact them if they saw any unexplained injuries on their children, L&C reported.
