EPD’s Street Crimes Unit executed search warrant, seizing 20 lbs of meth and significant cash
Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, the Department’s Street Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Special Investigations Unit and partner agencies, executed a search warrant in South Eugene as part of an extensive narcotics investigation.
Police officials said that the operation led to the seizure of 20 pounds of methamphetamine and significant amounts of cash.
During the investigation, officers intercepted two drug transactions, each involving two pounds of methamphetamine, and successfully recovered the drugs. The search extended to a short-term rental property, where an additional 16 pounds of methamphetamine were found. Investigators confirmed that the owner of the rental property was not involved in the illegal activities.
The suspect, 19-year-old Amber Flores from California, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine, categorized as a Commercial Drug Offense. According to the police, the entire shipment of narcotics was seized, preventing any of the drugs from reaching the streets.
