Brush fire on North Game Farm Road under control, the size is estimated at 28 acres
Eugene, OR – According to the statement, the responding crews actively fought a brush fire on North Game Farm Road.
Crews were initially called at 5:35 PM on July 2nd after reports of smoke and fire from an area homeless encampment off North Game Farm Road.
The fire originated from an area homeless encampment and quickly spread due to strong winds.
The blaze ultimately covered an estimated 28 acres before being contained.
The Coburg Fire District provided essential mutual aid support throughout the operation.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area during the response, ensuring the safety of both firefighters and the public.
