Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire on Royal between N Terry and Green Hill Rd Saturday afternoon
Eugene, OR – According to the statement, Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a reported house fire on Royal between N Terry and Green Hill Rd.
Arriving fire crews encountered a mobile home on fire, with smoke and flames from one end of the home.
Crews worked quickly to perform a primary search and extinguish the fire before it consumed the entire occupancy.
The fire posed an additional challenge as the area is non hydranted.
Fire engines used their on board tank water and a water tender with nearly 3,000 gallons of water responded from East Springfield to assist.
The fire was placed under control and all occupants are accounted for.
The fire is under investigation and no firefighters or residents were injured.
