Local resident was jailed on firearm and drug charges
Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy contacted Jesse Day at a parking lot just off of Salmon Harbor Drive in Winchester Bay.
His vehicle was illegally parked and was blocking access to the parking lot.
The deputy found a methamphetamine pipe and over 2.8 grams of meth.
The 62-year-old man reportedly admitted to having a rifle inside of his truck.
He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, for a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of meth and for a parole violation.
The suspect is being held without bail.
