Woman dies after man stepped out from between parked cars and started to quickly follow her in a bid to lndecently assault her, only to take her to a neglected section of the trail and fatally shoot her

Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, the 29-year-old man, later identified as PauI, was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide, after he reportedly killed a woman by shooting her in the head right after he abducted her and tried to se-ually assault her. The fatal incident occurred earlier this week, MNPD officials say. The 34-year-old victim, later identified as AIyssa, suffered a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation process began after multiple witnesses called 911 in connection with shots fired at the location. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the victim was exercising when the 29-year-old man stepped out from between parked vehicles and started to follow her. The man then abducted the victim and took her to a neglected section of the traiI.
Shortly after, witnesses heard the victim screaming for help and saying that ‘someone is trying to r-pe her’. Moments later, they heard a single gunshot. The 29-year-old shooter then ran to his vehicle and fled the scene. The victim’s body was found and the 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a single gunshot wound to the head.
According to the MNPD officials, the 29-year-old shooter was arrested after a video captured him with bIood on his clothes and scratches on his body. The camera also captured the license plate number of his vehicle. No known motive for the attack and murder was immediately known, police officials said.
