Two City of Eugene employees named 2025 20 Under 40 Rising Business Star honorees
Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene announced that Amanda D’Souza, Development Programs Manager, and Jana Meszaros, Farmers Market Pavilion Steward, were recognized as 2025 Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce 20 Under 40 Rising Business Star honorees.
D’Souza has focused on kindness and empathy in her work with the community, leading downtown development and economic prosperity initiatives.
Her efforts have supported the creation of more than 1,100 new housing units and the development of the Downtown Riverfront.
Meszaros emphasizes inclusion and community in her work, from managing the Farmers Market Pavilion to promoting accessible arts and community events.
Her initiatives aim to foster connection and civic engagement throughout Eugene.
City officials expressed pride in both honorees for their contributions to the community.
