The Eugene Springfield Fire Department will host another Open House for its Apprenticeship Program on Tuesday, October 1

Eugene, OR – According to the officials, this event will start at 6 p.m. and it will be held at the ESF Training Building, located at 1705 W. 2nd Ave, Eugene, OR.
This event will last approximately two hours and provide an opportunity to learn about the department’s new apprenticeship program, which offers a paid union wage while participants receive the necessary training and support to become a firefighter/EMT.
The program aims to expand access to structural firefighting careers, offering a pathway for individuals who may not have had such opportunities before.
Attendees are encouraged to come, ask questions, and learn more about the apprenticeship for themselves or on behalf of family members or friends.
Refreshments will be provided at the event.
