The City of Eugene is excited to announce its new newsroom webpage, city officials say

Eugene, OR – According to the city officials, the new page allows for increased and deeper information sharing and covers a wide range of City topics that community members ask about.
While the City’s home webpage has long held a few recent news items, the newsroom significantly increases the number of topics community members can find in one place.
The newsroom webpage also supports the City of Eugene 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, which is informed by the 2022 Community Survey.
The strategic plan includes communication and outreach as one of four key focus areas, with goals including: improve community awareness and understanding of priority topics; engage with a broader cross section of the community; and increase community confidence in council and staff.
