Partial path closure near Riverfront Park Plaza construction in Eugene

Eugene, OR – A section of the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path near the Riverfront Park Plaza construction site in Eugene will be partially closed from this week through mid-April due to infrastructure work, according to the City of Eugene Parks and Open Space.
During the closure, bike riders will be redirected to use the pedestrian path.
Cyclists are urged to follow posted signage, reduce their speed, and exercise caution around pedestrians.
Additionally, the public restroom, known as the “loo bathroom,” located within the construction zone, will be closed for the duration of the project.
The City of Eugene has asked for the public’s patience and understanding as the work progresses.
