Man accused of murdering his 78-year-old mother in South Eugene
Eugene Police have released the identity of the victim in a South Eugene murder investigation.
Police identified the person found dead Tuesday after as 78-year-old Florence Alvergue, the mother of the suspect.
Eugene Police said officers responded to the 400 block of E. 46th Street just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday in response to a death. Investigators were still on scene Wednesday.
