Fatal single-vehicle crash at Roosevelt and Fergus leaves one dead, police officials said
Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, the fatal crash occurred right before 4 a.m. early Monday morning.
It happened t Roosevelt Boulevard and Fergus Road.
Eugene Police Department officers and Eugene Springfield Fire Department crews were called to a single-vehicle crash into a power pole at Roosevelt Boulevard and Fergus Road.
The driver and sole occupant, who was not identified, was found deceased.
It appeared the vehicle was going east on Roosevelt Boulevard and veered off the roadway and struck the traffic light pole at the northeast corner of the intersection.
EPD Major Collision Investigation team responded for a crash investigation.
