Eugene Springfield Fire crews respond to vehicle crash and fire in West Eugene

Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) responded to an unknown injury motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Hwy 99 and Barger Dr in West Eugene on Saturday afternoon.
Callers reported that a vehicle had crashed off the roadway and caught fire.
Engine 8 from the Danebo station arrived on the scene to find both the car and the surrounding grass ablaze.
Firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident. The swift response by ESF crews ensured that the fire was brought under control promptly, minimizing potential damage.
