ESFD officials say they recovered two bodies from the Willamette River near I-5 in Glenwood
Eugene, OR – According to the statement, the ESFD (Eugene Springfield Fire Department) officials have recovered 2 bodies.
The Eugene Springfield Fire Department has recovered the bodies from the Willamette River near I-5 in Glenwood Wednesday afternoon.
According to the statement, the call came in around 3:34 p.m.
Battalion Chief Ben Meigs says when they arrived they found two paddle boards downstream, caught in a tree. The bodies were found nearby.
Lane County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. This story will be updated.
