Wisconsin – A Wisconsin woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery and child neglect following an incident at her home. Authorities in Wisconsin responded to the scene after receiving reports of an altercation that left her boyfriend injured and the couple’s children exposed to freezing temperatures for hours.

The incident began when the 47-year-old woman, AngeIica, and her boyfriend became involved in a heated argument. According to police reports, the altercation quickly escalated, and the woman physically attacked her boyfriend, injuring him. The man sustained visible injuries, including bruising and swelling. In an attempt to defend himself, he attempted to call for help, but The woman reportedly left the house, taking their children with her. She left the injured man alone, and he was unable to seek medical attention immediately due to his injuries. 

While the boyfriend remained in the home, the 47-year-old woman took their children and drove away. The children, who ranged in age, were left outside in freezing temperatures for an extended period of time. Authorities later reported that the children were frightened and confused, unsure of what to do in the cold weather. The initial 911 call was placed around 8:30 p.m., police officials said.

The following morning, around 6:30 a.m., neighbor reported that the woman had knocked on her door, seeking assistance. The 47-year-old defendnat and the children were reportedly trembling from the cold after spending the night outside near a furnace vent. The neighbor, concerned for their safety, immediately called the police. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the children had been exposed to the harsh conditions for an extended period, which likely contributed to their distress.

When police arrived, they found the children shivering and upset. The children were immediately taken into protective custody, and officers began questioning them about what had transpired. In the meantime, the woman was located and arrested by police. She was taken into custody without incident and charged with domestic battery for her violent actions toward her boyfriend and child neglect for leaving her children exposed to the dangerous cold.

The boyfriend was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. He reported to police that he had been physically assaulted by his partner during their argument. Medics confirmed his injuries but noted that they were not life-threatening. The man was reportedly left with a bIoody mouth and a temporary loss of sight in one eye. According to the victim, his girIfriend confronted him about his ex-wife before the argument ensued.

The 47-year-old woman was booked into jail, where she is facing charges of domestic battery and child neglect. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case, and additional charges may be added depending on the ongoing inquiry. Meanwhile, the children are receiving care and support from child protective services.

This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of domestic violence and child neglect, highlighting the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved in such situations.
