Eugene, OR – The highly anticipated Filmed By Bike Film Festival is coming to Eugene on Friday, May 16, bringing 90 minutes of inspiring short films centered around cycling and the great outdoors. Based in Portland, this independent film festival showcases global films that celebrate the spirit of biking, personal growth, and community building.

Eugene residents and visitors are invited to join the city and its community partners for a vibrant event at Straub Hall on the University of Oregon campus. This year’s theme, “Celebrate Cycling, Eugene!” highlights the power of cycling as a catalyst for connection and change. The event will feature a series of short films, local film submission winners, a raffle, and even a community group ride to the venue.

Your entry ticket includes one raffle ticket, complimentary pizza, bike valet services provided by Cascadia Mobility, and free bike tune-up services from Shift Community Cycles. All ticket sales benefit Shift Community Cycles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing barriers to cycling and empowering individuals and communities to embrace biking as a sustainable and accessible mode of transportation.

This event is part of the larger May is Bike Month celebrations and promises to be a fun-filled evening for cycling enthusiasts and the Eugene community at large.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the show starting at 6 p.m. at Straub Hall on the University of Oregon campus. The event is organized by University of Oregon Transportation Services, Shift Community Cycles, Cascadia Mobility, the City of Eugene, and Lane Council of Governments.
