Friends of Eugene Public Library hosting annual benefit book sale in April
Eugene, OR – The Friends of Eugene Public Library will host their annual two-day book sale on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, at the Lane Events Center Performance Hall.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, offering shoppers thousands of gently used and like-new books at bargain prices.
Most books will be available for $2, including fiction and nonfiction titles in paperback and hardcover, spanning various genres.
In addition to books, the sale will feature DVDs, audiobooks, music books, music CDs, novelties, and a large selection of children’s books and media.
Admission and parking are free. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes. All major credit cards and cash will be accepted (no checks).
Members of the Friends of Eugene Public Library will have early admission access, and those interested in joining can visit friendseugenelibrary.org.
Proceeds from the sale support the Eugene Public Library by funding new books and materials, Summer Reading gift books for children and teens, and a variety of library events and activities.
The sale is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, with more than 400 volunteers contributing to its success.
