Eugene police officers reunite with woman whose life they helped save after she collapsed at home last month

Eugene, OR – Per reports, two Eugene police officers recently reunited with a woman they helped save after she collapsed at home last month.
The officers, who were the first on the scene, performed CPR and used an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to revive her before medics arrived.
Now recovering, the woman met with the officers at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center to personally thank them for their quick response.
Officials highlighted the reunion as a reminder of the importance of early CPR and AED use in saving lives.
The Eugene Police Foundation and PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation partnered to provide AED units for officers, ensuring compatibility with Eugene Springfield Fire’s advanced life support devices.
