Eugene’s State of the City set for January 13 at Hult Center
Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene will hold its annual State of the City event at the Hult Center’s Soreng Theater on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
The evening will begin with the administration of oaths of office, followed by Mayor Kaarin Knudson delivering her first State of the City address.
The program will include videos celebrating the year’s accomplishments and the Bold Steps Award, with reflections by outgoing Mayor Lucy Vinis.
Mayor Knudson will also present three Community Service Awards honoring individuals and groups who made a significant impact in 2024.
Entertainment will feature the Eli Hansen Trio.
The event is free, open to the public, wheelchair accessible, and includes interpretation for the hearing-impaired.
A media area with a mult box for audio will be available on the theater’s second tier. Light refreshments will follow the program.
